Thought I’d share another poem my daughter wrote for her school poetry project:
Magical Memory
As I’m waiting on the side stage, watching
My heart is pounding as the music starts
I go on the stage and begin
The audience is watching
The spotlights are turning on
I focus on what I’m doing
I point my toes, keep my head high
I smile a big smile
The audience is watching in silence
I jump, I leap, I spin, I dance my steps
I dance my steps just right
I stop, and so do my classmates
We walk to the front of the stage
We take a bow and the audience claps
I love dancing!
